Simply put, overall, 2023 was an outright ideal vintage. There were ideal spring rains for initial growth, and then it went very dry.
Just the right amount of rain at just the right moments to keep the vines on a quality path, while just barely averting significant vine damage.
2023 achieved the same intensity and concentration as 2019, without the excessively high alcohol levels. It’s an impressive vintage, with what resulted in a lot of ‘perfect’ fruit.

OUR FARM
Our farm winery was built from the land and has been designed to envelope you in the look and feel of a rustic lodge while offering the serenity and beauty of a countryside lake home. When visiting we want you to feel at home, so curl up on the plush couch in front of one of the fireplaces, enjoy a glass of wine with friends at a repurposed wine barrel table, or enjoy a hearty stout at the large pub table. Outside we have a Pergola with climbing hydrangeas and a large wraparound porch with seating so that you can watch the wildlife and breathe the fresh air coming across the water. Upstairs we have a lovely gallery area with additional seating and breathtaking views.
