Languedoc & Roussillon

Climate

Languedoc: Two seasons: Hot, dry summers, and mild winters.

Strong northerly winds balance out humidity and sea breezes.

Roussillon: Warmest region in France.

Drought is an issue.

Always windy. The “Tramontane” blows hard enough to desiccate berries. It also keeps diseases off to facilitate lots of organic and biodynamic farming.
