Soils:
Limestone/Marl: In Patrimonio where Nielluccio does well.
Granite: In Ajaccio where Sciaccarello makes full-bodied wines.
Soils are specific to grape varieties.
-Vines are trained in Goblet style, but beginning to trellis.
-Irrigation mostly illegal except in rare occasions.
-Cicadas can be a problem for vineyards.
